I've uploaded MusixTeX version 140 to CTAN and to the wima archive. The
only changes are to several extension packages that support use of type1
fonts with musixtex. The changes work around an incompatibility with the
latest LaTeX.
If you get the following error message:
! Undefined control sequence.
l.49 \DeclareFontSubstitution
{T1}{cmr}{m}{n}
you should update to 1.40.
