Again, the error goes away when I delete some unrelated files from the
folder itself. I kept them all in there for now, since I could not
find out which specific file(s) causing this. And I have no idea why this
happens as all the other files are not related to index.tex at all.
I've tried the command you ran on the unzipped files and the
compilation ran correctly. It is indeed strange.
Thanks for trying. THis is very strange. I just installed Linux
on VBox, latest Tex live and I get same error as on Linux under
windows. In same folder.

I give up. I have no idea what is the problem. I will just compile
this file with SVG. That always works, even if little slower :)
