OK, wise guys. I said I had the same birthday as Andrew Johnson, not the same birth date.

In a fit of foolishness, I clicked on David's link to a Facebook event about the Indiana Cave Capers this weekend. I attended them regularly before I moved to Texas. I see that the photo (all I can see on the Facebook event) is from Devil's Graveyard Cave in Harrison County. That reminds me of something that does date me. That cave is featured on the cover of Dick Powell's "Caves of Indiana," published in 1961. It was not until I saw a larger version of that photo as the frontispiece in the 1973 NSS Convention guidebook that I recognized that I was the caver in that cover photo, which must have been taken very soon after I started caving. -- Mixon
