Hello, I'm not sure what to say regarding the FOIA action, so will not comment on it, but I do have a few questions:
1. I was unable to attend the last SWR regional due to scheduling conflicts. Was the FOIA discussed at the regional? If it wasn't, I find it surprising to be asking for regional support after the fact. If it was discussed and approval received from a majority of the grotto representatives, my apologies. 2. Who will be the SWR's "experts" who will be reviewing the documents. If you are questioning the veracity of the scientists and the land & cave managers, they have every right to ask the same of the SWR. So. I, as a SWR member, am asking: Who will be our experts who will be reviewing the said documents and what are their credentials? 3. It appears that a great deal of information has been requested. How will the fees for labor and coping charges be paid? Were these potential expenditures cleared ahead of time? (Once again, my apologies if this discussion was held at the past regional).
