The proposed Resource Management Plan Amendment/Environmental Assessment for
the Fort Stanton - Snowy River National Conservation Area is available for
review at http://www.blm.gov/nm/roswell.
This propose of the proposed amendment is to amend the 1997 Roswell RMP to
provide the framework for managing the subsurface and surface resources of the
NCA.
The proposed amendment is open for a 30-day protest period beginning August 23,
2013.
E-mailed protests will not be accepted as valid protests unless the protesting
party also provides the original letter by either regular mail or overnight
delivery postmarked by the close of the protest period.
There is a cover letter that provides more information and where to send
protests.
