Sad news. Bill was quite involved with the cave program when Snowy River was 
first discovered. We may have not always agreed with his tactical approach to 
cave resources vs recreational activities in BLM, but Bill was a decent soul. I 
enjoyed chatting with him, and always appreciated the breakfast burrito he 
brought me before our expeditions!
