The new animated movie, "The Croods," features a family of Neanderthal-like hominids that are human-like in many ways. They live in a tiny rock shelter in a rocky desert all alone. They survive a catastrophic shift in the earth's crust and are forced to leave the only land they know in search of a new cave.
Kids will love this story. I enjoyed all of it. There were not any major limestone cave scenes, but rocky tunnels and a maze of karst towers. There were some purple bats that flew in the daytime. David Locklear
