The November meeting of the PBSS was held on Tuesday the 13th. The meeting began at 7:00 pm and was attended by: Matthew Ormsby, Tristan Ormsby, Ben Fowler, Bill Bentley, Walter Feaster, Rule Metcalf, Patrick Ray, Laura Liem and Luke and Kat (whose last names I obviously don't know). A financial report was given by Walter. New memberships and bat stickers brought the clubs total to 871.79. Bill gave a brief report on the TCR. Approximately 360 individuals participated. Some time was spent speaking about the upcoming trip to the Deep and Punkin Nature Preserve. Interested parties were given directions. This trip is scheduled for Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th 5 miles from Carta Valley Texas near Del Rio. Anyone interested in going that reads this remailer should contact me by Wednesday the 21st. Information on both caves can be found on the TCMA website. Interest was also gauged in participating in a December trip. The interest seems to exist but a consensus on a good weekend varies. A few minutes were also spent discussing the Christmas party but a date and location were not yet decided. This very short meeting was officially ended at 7:20 pm; however we spent another hour looking at maps and discussing gear preferences.
