All,
I just received the following from Doug Rhodes. Doug is planning on
being at the regional and is looking for help from cavers for toys for
Tarahumara kids in Mexico. If you've got anything you could bring for Doug,
I'm sure he (and the kids) would appreciate it.

Begin forwarded message:

> I've one minor problem, perhaps you could help me. Over the past 17 or so
> years we have hosted an annual Christmas morning piƱata party for Tarahumara
> children eventually giving out toys to over 100 kids who might otherwise get
> nothing for Christmas. No matter the weather, these kids and their families
> walk out of the mountains for this event, some of them hiking 3 hours.
> Because of the downturn in tourism this year, we have nothing to give and no

> electrical.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you
didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, Sail away from
the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
attributed to Mark Twain, but no record exists of his having written this.
