Reposted from texcascaver list.

What a hoot. Fort Stanton Cave clearly is not a portal as it was not mentioned
(unless it is too secret to reveal).

Deep Cavern Systems Worldwide & Honey-Combed thru out the Planet!

“Personal accounts of those who explored awesome depths and bizarre things
there in”.

It is the most well kept ‘secret’ of all time! The earth is a much grander,
mysterious and wondrous place then anyone could ever imagine in our wildest
dreams! If true, an entire ‘second’ earth exists right below our feet! Not just
in the US but nearly every point on this earth hosts an entire network of
caverns of vast size and depth; honey-combed thru out the planet! There is a
vast and deep underground world where advanced technology can be used freely.
Where people can escape to and where all manner of secrets can be kept. Some
very important testimonies and documents are available from certain ‘military’
sources that this is real! Going back centuries to only decades these accounts
are now available to those with an open mind and the due diligence to do the
research to uncover this grand deception.

>From ancient historians and old to current newspapers to police departments to
>investigative agencies have all documented cases of COMPLETE DISAPPEARANCES of
>people; men, women and children for hundreds of years never to be found.
>Literally disappeared from the face of the earth. How can that be especially,
>in this modern time of electronic surveillance, Amber Alerts and security
>devices, satellite systems, etc?

Whole tribes, entire civilizations have disappeared –without a trace -such as
the Mayans! Where did they go? Where could they go? There are only a few
theories that can meet this vast mystery on all counts! It is the belief of
this writer and supported by hundreds of accounts (however unwitting,
disbelieving or reluctant) that they merely, by accident, coerced or directed,
uncovered stunning secrets of cavern entrances and went underground never to be
seen again. And, if they chose to go underground they very well enjoy an
existence that compared to our lives here would be idyllic in most cases and it
would explain why they never returned. Others say they went much further. All
theories but the underground scenario is one that has much more credence,
probability and growing evidential support.

It would seem to me that the evidence is overwhelming that there is an
underground realm of infinite size and depth where subterranean rushing rivers
of the ages runs thru uncovering stunning gems, huge crystals and gold, found
in such abundance that would boggle the mind! All stand in silent testimony of
their existence beneath our very feet but hidden from those who live topside
for eons for covert and nefarious reasons.

One side of this coin is a peaceful and tranquil existence if you are lucky
enough to delve deep within and have a positive experience or interaction.
However, on the other side of that same coin there are those who wandered into
the ‘wrong places’ or were ‘taken’ by force and thrust into a world they can’t
escape by culprits still to be identified.

So, if you are reading this and decide to explore any of these places noted in
this article (or the following ones) - on your own- you can’t say you weren’t
warned.

The following are brief excerpts from various articles*, legends/myths, reports
and personal accounts that lay claim to personal knowledge of forty-four (44)
underground cities beneath the surface of North America, six of which are
alleged to be on the West Coast alone! Some of this information comes from
anonymous Native American Indian sources going back centuries and handed down
to each new generation. I personally know of one such who was ‘entrusted’ with
the hard evidence – a map of all the entrances to this inner world.

When we relate this to the large number of migration legends (to and from
cavern realms), which exist among the Native American Indian Tribes traced back
long before Christopher Columbus, it is conceivable that certain tribes do
still retain covert knowledge of vast underground civilizations related to them
from distant ancestors. Some of these elders or shamans of these different
tribes and others have inferred that they have easy access to these underground
places but also enjoy a Present Day contact with several of these
<http://www.diannerobbins.com/> cavern civilizations (
http://www.diannerobbins.com/ )as well while living above ground on their
reservations. There are strong indications that some of these tribes physically
relocated underground as a result of the encroaching Colonial inhabitations
upon early North America. Similar allegations are made in relation to South and
Central America as well.

Deep Cavern Systems Discovered

Within the State of Texas, some 8 or 9 miles from within Apache Canyon country,
and as rugged as anywhere on the face of the globe is an offshoot of Apache
Canyon to the south, is an almost impassable gash called Hell Canyon. The walls
of this canyon rise precipitously for at least 1000 feet straight up and top
out on Apache Peak on one side and an old Indian ceremonial ground on the other
side. More desolate country would be hard to imagine and in the wildest part of
the canyon that the following cave was found, in fact they almost fell into it.
The high grass about the opening hid the entrance.

650 feet down they found finely detailed cuneiform writing on the wall at eye
level. They then found the soil had long embedded strings of quartz, but
strangely there were huge chunks of rock as big as pianos that were solid
masses of seashells. At 7000 feet down they came to a high glossy, smooth dark
marble wall over 12 feet high! Perfect. Seamless. Not natural! They could hear
something behind it and when they pressed their ears to it they heard noises
similar together rushing winds or raging waters. They had no equipment to scale
the wall and left.

North West of Pahrump (but west of Las Vegas) is the notorious Devil's Hole
National Monument, an annex of Death Valley National Monument. It is,
apparently, a ‘bottomless’ aqua-cave containing a species of cavefish located
nowhere else in the world. Like the legendary ‘subterranean grand canyon’,
which reportedly runs beneath the Kokoweef and Dorr Peaks near the SW flank of
the Ivanpah Mountains, just south of highway 91 and NW of Needles, California
the Devil's Hole water level ALSO reportedly rises and falls with the tide,
suggesting a connection with a massive underground sea below and upstream,
possibly in the area of eastern Nevada and western Utah.

There have been several accounts of strange caves and unusual stories
concerning Devil's Slide Cave six miles southwest of Tazewell, VA and Stoven's
Cave in Kentucky. From both these caves strange, unusual sounds have been heard
to emerge.

There were said to be vast caverns within the interior of Pike's Peak in
Colorado, as evidenced by occasional sounds of subterranean rock avalanches,
which have been heard to emanate from the bowels of the mountain. Other sources
have confirmed this phenomena also which indicates a hollow or cavernous area
inside.

A researcher has written the results of his personal scientific experiments,
which may prove that giant cavities do exist in granite at depths of more than
11 miles, conclusions, which have also been supported by a mathematician who
calculated that, at normal temperatures, a cavity would exist at a depth of
between 17.2 and 20.9 miles under ground thru out the earth or nearly so.

A couple from Bishop, Calif. discovered a circular hole in the ground while
exploring for petroglyphs. They climbed down the hole, which bottomed out to a
horizontal corridor. On one of the walls was carved a face out of the mouth of
which poured water. Suddenly the water started to gush out of the face and from
other openings, and the couple was forced to abandon the tunnel. Later, both
recalled that they heard music there as well.

There is reference to an entrance to a tunnel in the Franklin Mountains near El
Paso, Texas and an unexplored cave with large stone steps leading deep into the
earth near El Moro National Monument northeast of Pie Town, New Mexico.

In 1992 a television crew covered the remarkable rescue of a woman-a
speleologist - who had broken her leg while helping to map the system-from the
Lechuguilla cavern-network adjacent to Carlsbad. Ever since the entrance to
Lechuguilla was found less than a dozen years previous to the accident it
quickly became the cave for veteran speleologists and spelunkers in the United
States, if not the world, to focus their attention on. In these few years it
has established itself as the deepest officially recognized cavern in the
United States at over 1,565 feet in depth and over 55 miles long with no end in
sight! In addition to this, John Lear, Thomas C. and other have identified
Carlsbad, New Mexico as being the general location of an underground base
connecting the gigantic subterranean network, which converges below Dulce, New
Mexico.

A source describes a mysterious maze of underground tunnels and rooms
discovered beneath the surface of Eureka, Nevada.

An account tells of a remnant of an ancient civilization still in existence
underground, within one of the mountain ranges adjacent to the Imperial Valley
area of California.

It was mentioned that a large network of underground tunnels is in the
California desert, at Camp Irwin, near Barstow. This may tie-in with an item
related by a Los Angeles municipal water director, stating that this water
director knew of five large underground rivers which ran beneath the Mojave
desert, and that <http://www.epa.gov/oust/cat/gwkarst.pdf> die-traces showed
that at least one of these emptied into the Pacific ocean through openings in
the continental slopes One source stated that such a river exited into the Gulf
of California.

Other sources speak of a Kokoweef river-system, which is alleged to lie below
Kokoweef peak just east of Fort Irwin, which looked (according to it's alleged
discoverer, Earl Dorr, and a few Native American Indians who also claimed to
have been in it) like a ‘Grand Canyon’ underground! It allegedly consisted of a
river chasm generally 500 ft. wide and over a thousand feet high and/or deep,
sided by steep tiered and shelved underground cliffs, huge stalactites and
cataracts. The water of the river allegedly rose and fell with the tides,
suggesting that a very large body of water might exist upstream. The municipal
water director, according to the article, spoke with a man who claimed that he
was hired several years ago by the government to look for water sources for Ft.
Irwin. He alleged to have explored an old mine in the area and found that deep
down, the shaft intersected with an ancient earth fault or chasm- like cave,
which continued horizontally for a considerable distance. This government
employee followed the chasm and allegedly emerged onto the bank of a huge
<http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread300230/pg1> underground river-cave (
http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread300230/pg1 )over a quarter of a mile
wide! The tremendous water flow-possibly originating from the waters that
apparently disappear beneath the Great Basin, the Nevada and Mojave deserts
could have 'fed' the water needs of all of Southern California if not more.

It’s been noted, in some accounts, that California is riddled with under water
caverns that are filled with water and some that have oil or gas on top of the
water. One anomalous, out of place, feature (to me since I first saw it) is the
La Brea Tar Pits in L.A.

In launching a detailed search under the label of ‘Porous Earth’ these
researchers have already uncovered hundreds of miles of subterranean cave
systems that literally are found under every nation on Earth!

One posted account of a possible 'entrance' to a cavern system near the bottom
of the elevator landing in the Hoover Dam near Las Vegas, which holds back Lake
Mead. Early construction workers allegedly broke into (and probably re-sealed)
large caverns while blasting out the cliffs near the base of the dam. In the
lower elevator landing, according to the witness, there was wildly colored tile
inlay on the floor, with signs of the zodiac and all sorts of stuff suggesting
an entrance. He suggests a possible connection between this and the caverns,
which the workers broke into. Could this tie-in with accounts given by others
that an underground base exists beneath Page, Arizona connecting the S-4
underground base in Nevada and the Dulce underground base in New Mexico via
tube-line? (The Glen Canyon - Lake Powell Hydroelectric Dam in Page 'might'
provide a power source for such an underground installation) This is however
only supposition, however Navaho dam is alleged to supply some power to the
upper human-occupied levels of the Dulce Base, which may suggest that similar
bases are at least partially powered by the hydroelectric dams.

One source some years ago wrote a manuscript in which he hypothesized that the
legendary "Seven Caves" of Aztec tradition might lie beneath mountains adjacent
to the Salton Sea of southern California. Certain persons have allegedly heard
subterranean rock avalanches within mountains in this area. Avalanches not seen
on the mountain but deep within it.

Beneath the Eastern Region of the US

An account described a large triangular system of tunnels utilized by a
'Masonic lodge', deep below the surface of New York City. Could this have any
connection to the other 'rumors' to the effect that cavernous regions exist
below Manhattan? For instance, in 1962 Con Edison, while drilling a test hole
in the north of East River Park, New York City, broke through to open space
about 200 feet below.

Also, there are allegations that the Church of St. John the Divine in New York
was built over ancient tunnels leading to a dome-shaped city abandoned by
ancient Atlanteans and later, apparently, re-established by others. Then there
are accounts of thousands of people, who have literally and mysteriously
disappeared without a trace in and around New York City never to be found and
has the notoriety of having the highest number of missing children in the US in
that state in general.

Others reveal the discovery of an unexplored network of ancient, artificial
tunnels during construction of a parking lot in Crofton, Maryland. Subsequent
construction covered the tunnel entrances before the system could be completely
investigated.

Global Cavern Systems

An article described caves within Mt. Sombrero in the Tampica area of Mexico,
from which sounds resembling those made by 'hydroelectric generating equipment'
can be heard.

Another account tells of over 60 miles of ancient tunnel systems of unknown
origin and purpose, which have been discovered beneath the town of Eger,
Hungary, some of which have collapsed. The civilization, which built the
tunnels, must have been fairly advanced in engineering and science in order to
create such a sophisticated subterranean system.

Another source gives the history as given by one of the chiefs-of the Ugha
Mongulala tribesman, whose ancestors were allegedly part of a vast empire which
covered South America in ancient times. These ancient people, the chief
claimed, knew of vast subterranean cities beneath the Andes mountains and
western Brazil. In 1971, due to the constant encroachment of white settlers or
invaders into their territory, 30,000 survivors of the Ugha Mongulala allegedly
escaped into this ancient system of underground cities, consisting of 13
separate subterranean complexes all connected by tunnels, one of which is said
to extend to Lima, and others of which are located throughout the Andes
Mountain range of Peru.

A report of a discovery of a mysterious stone staircase leading to a network of
underground caverns beneath the Caribbean island of Bonaire was noted.

An account of a huge man-made opening in the ocean floor between Panama and the
Galapagos Islands, which scientists say receives a constant flow of ocean
water, which is being sucked through the hole and into the crust beneath the
ocean floor.

Another account was given of a sealed cave in a certain canyon near old Sonora,
Mexico, which is said to lead to the ancient Aztec underworld, or 'The Hidden
City of Chihuatlan.'

Another article related the discovery of a strange cavern system located some
300 miles northwest of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Within the
cavern-system there were allegedly large amounts of gold and perfectly round
stones and underground rivers. The Canadian government immediately suppressed
these findings, according to the article, soon after they were discovered.

Four million Chinese people are said to live in cavern dwellings, according to
THE PEOPLE'S DAILY, a Chinese Newspaper. There are hundreds of miles of
inhabited, artificially constructed national defense tunnels and chambers
beneath Peking alone.

Authors note* – I thought I would not be able to research/gather enough info
for one article on underground discoveries, tunnels and rivers. But, to my
stunned surprise, the material I found was almost overwhelming! There is so
much I have to section it off to cover it all and if you do the same
open-minded research I did you will discover the same wealth of information.
