I have been using Wilson Electronics external antennas and boasters since the late 90's. A Wilson external antenna was the only way I had Verizon coverage at my house in a glacial valley just south of Ithaca, NY. This location is a dead zone on the Verizon coverage maps. On I-64 back around 2004 using just a Wilson antenna would extend my phone coverage to the curves on the VA/WV border. About 15 miles more range than without it. 3.
