I just purchased one of these tie dye bat shirts at the Trade Days in
Fredericksburg.

I was wondering how much interest there would be in these at TCR.

Here's the link:

If there's enough interest, I will contact the vendor and see how much they
would be.

Please contact me offline, if interested.

Later,

Mark

I have tried contacting this company several times by phone and email over
the last 2 years and they have not responded with any interest to come to
TCR but yes, I am sure people would love to have some of these shirts.
Awesome if you can get them to come!

There's a cute little house that just went up for sale on Mockingbird Ln
just down the street from Gill Ediger's place. I think they want around
$130k for it. Two bedrooms and a narrow yard that meets the creek. The
people in the neighborhood asked me to post it to cavetex before a realtor
gets a hold of it. We all want to keep this street caver and
environmentally friendly, and everyone's terrified of some big developer
buying the place and putting up another McMansion. If you know anyone
interested, pass them Gill's contact info or reply off-list.

Sheryl,

1. Wilson Electronics, WilsonElectronics.com, is made in the US, St. George
Utah. Call their tech support and you will get the folks who actually designed
the stuff.
Wilson also posts a tech notes sheet for how to get into most cell phone's
diagnostic mode and see the actual mDb signal strength. Not just one or two
bars.
If you go to most Truck Stops you will find them selling Wilson Electronics
cell phone antennas and Wilson Antenna CB and SWR antennas, different
companies. www.wilsonantenna.com

FBI and other federal agencies have been using Wilson Electronics antennas and
repeaters for years to create micro cell sites - like the Rudolph, Atlanta
Olympic bomber, search many years back.

3gstore.com is a reseller of theirs as well as EVDO modems and data plans. On
eBay there are a number of Wilson resellers who are actual users -
cellularantenna is one of them.
Check their EVDOmaps.com for user provided EVDO coverage information

2. I have been using Wilson Electronics external antennas and boasters since
the late 90's.
A Wilson external antenna was the only way I had Verizon coverage at my house
in a glacial valley just south of Ithaca, NY. This location is a dead zone on
the Verizon coverage maps.
On I-64 back around 2004 using just a Wilson antenna would extend my phone
coverage to the curves on the VA/WV border. About 15 miles more range than
without it.

3. If folks are at looking at the less expensive units for themselves this is
what my research found.
[800/1900mhz] Wilson Sleek Cell Phone Signal Booster - 815226: This is a single
unit repeater, the device must be clipped/duct taped to the repeater.
MobilePro - is a short range, device within ~2m, repeater so you can boast
several devices at once i.e. Android and EVDO modem

Any other questions, ping me.

Nigel

Yes, that time is approaching - time to decide the menu and work out the
details for this year's big feed.

Please email me off list if you are interested in:

a) Owning a dish

b) Helping to cook (you help a dish owner, or everyone cooking!)

c) Helping to serve the hungry hoards

Also, costs can be kept down (keeping *everyone* happy) if anyone has meat or
vegetables they'd like to donate. Again, please email me off list if you can
help out.

Thanks, and looking forward to your emails :-)

Cheers,
Stefan
