The Greater Houston Grotto has found a very effective tool for recruitment in its Yahoo "Meet-Up" site. It has effectively connected the grotto to cavers from elsewhere who have moved to the Houston area, as well as would-be cavers and people who are simply interested in caves. And yes, we have gotten new actual members from the site, as well as casual visitors. But don't ask my anything about it because , I didn't set it up and more importantly, I am not a member of the younger generation.
