Blair Pittman Update 3-18-2011

Blair can now breathe on his own and drink water and juice. And he can   talk
with a slightly damaged voice. He will be assessed by a physical therapist
soon,   to decide what level of activity he can handle. When they judge him
ready, they will move him to a unit called L-TAC, where they will work   with
him carefully--it is not the same intensity of care as the ICU.

He is wanting to get up and walk, but he can't yet. He does not remember
anything   about the accident.

He does remember everything that has been said to him in the ICU while he was
unable to talk.
