Wow, I do believe this falls under a Number One no no in caver/landowner
relations. Thou shalt not trespass nor invite others to trespass without
permission! I really don't think this has changed to my knowledge.

yet, but if they will
let me leave up the camp, and mother nature or the cows or animals don't tear
it up, then anybody is welcome to camp here if they can get the o.k. from the
Raines.
I could only drive my Honda Fit within about 150 feet of the camp, due to some
small cedar trees in the trail. The cows don't seem to use this spot much,
but I ran off one beautiful fox.
It is more fun to drive across Texas when you have a base-camp. If I am
not there, feel free to use my cot, my chairs & table or anything else stored
under the tarp.

I meant to say the base-camp is just a concatenation of camping gear.
Terry said last Saturday that I could camp in his cow pasture.
Since there are bi-monthly scheduled digs and a concatenation of related
activities going on, it seems like a temporary base-camp needs to be in
place for cavers who don't live in the hill country.
I brought all that gear from my storage unit in Brenham using my
fuel-efficient Honda Fit. That car will have 250,000 miles on it in a few
days.
I doubt anybody is going to want to camp in the summer heat. There is no
running water or electricity at the camp-site. But there are no bugs, and
it is quiet. Sleeping on a cot is the way to camp here.
Andy Gluesencamp lives just about 100 meters from the camp-site.

KIWI SINK Update--Friday 28 June 2013--On account of there being several
BIG floor rocks (in particular) left uncovered and already strapped up for
hoisting we converged on the sink this morning and removed them.
Doing the duties were:
Gill Ediger
Ernie Garza
Guin McDaid
Terry Raines
Total resources eliminated: (6 lifts)
1 rock XL
3 rocks L
4 rocks S&M
2 Barrels that mysteriously got filled since Sunday
