Hello Cavers!
This is the first call for speakers for the 2013 TSA Spring Convention! As
many of you know, every year we have informational talks where cavers and
scientist-types volunteer to speak on a number of cave related topics. In
the past, we've had presentations on topics such as: archaeology, cave
biology, diving, geology, hydrology, cave critters, survey trips and
exploration, cave photography, restoration, safety, history, and caving
techniques. However, don't feel limited...anything somewhat caving-related
is fair game.
The spring convention will be held on April 5-7 at Cave without a Name in
Boerne, TX. Presentations will be held during the day on Saturday with a
break for lunch. Presentations are typically 15-20 minutes in length plus a
little time for audience questions, but there is plenty of flexibility in
the schedule if you would like to give a shorter or longer presentation.
The area is beautiful and the informational sessions will likely be held
INSIDE the cave (neat-O!) so this is shaping up to be a fantastic
convention. Make plans to attend and contact me if you have any questions
or would like to be a presenter! (And if we have already spoken and I've
confirmed with you, you are already on the schedule so we're good).

Hope to see you all there!
 Cavingly,
 Mallory Mayeux
