Highline is perfectly safe in my opinion. We've been using
it in Germany Valley without incident and I know of at least one U.
S. project in Mexico that uses it. The only complaint I've heard is
that sometimes the sheath slips a little and bunches up, but the same
thing can happen with PMI. All rope should be washed and dried
before use, which preshrinks it and also tightens the sheath. I just
bought five 600-foot spools of Highline on a different deal.
