Post from a family friend: At last report (Monday afternoon, July 15), the
doctors are saying she might stay in ICU for two weeks, but they really don't
know. Brain fluid being continually drained now to try to keep down
swelling/pressure, and body core temp brought down to 92 degrees. She is
totally unresponsive. Family is starting to dread talking to the doctors, as
every update gets worse. Visitors are allowed, max of two in the room at one
time, but you probably don't really want to see her like this.

She is at Memorial Hermann Hospital on Fannin St, Houston. Still in ICU.

One of the best, if not the best trauma hospital in the country.

I have been thinking of Mallory all day. Thanks for the updates. I am praying
for her and her family. This must be a horribly difficult time for them and I
am happy to see their wishes respected. It is kind of them to keep us informed.

Caleb called. She has facial fractures, a broken nose and continued brain
swelling. At least two more days in a coma, but the brain swelling has to stop
before they awaken her. No broken bones. They won't have an update until she
comes out of the induced coma.
Feel free to post this on CaveTex and GHG - I can't do either from my phone for
some unexplained reason.
