Thanks Gary. Nice little animation of how the aquifer works
in the second slide. Unfortunately when I tried to watch the last
slide, a video of the sinkhole in flood, all I got was another copy
of the second slide, but rotated sideways. :-(

Express News today (Tuesday, June 11, 2013). This was a trip to Seco
Creek (Valdina Farm) Sinkhole in Medina County. The reporter (Colin
McDonald) did a very nice job on discussing some aquifer issues and
reporting on the cave. David Ochel was in a picture in the front
page above the fold. He also had a nice quote. Gary Franklin also
got a nice picture in the paper on page 7. I think the paper had
about 12 photos on their web site. Here is a list of everyone that
participated. Many many thanks to everyone that worked hard on this project.

showing the trench is the Edwards Aquifer Sinkhole. That's the Valdina Farm

Grounds keepers hope to fill it in so as not to delay the scheduled 7:00 pm
start time for tonight's Rangers vs Cleveland game.
