About a dozen years ago a bizarre cave story appeared on the Internet. It's still up at <http://www.angelfire.com/trek/caver/index.html>. Also years ago there was a caver named Paul Steward who wrote a bunch of horror stories involving caves. He published at least one book of such stories. See "True Tales of Terror in the Caves of the World" on p. 3 in <http://www.cavebooks.com/CAVE%20BOOKS%20Catalog.pdf>. I haven't heard anything of him for years, but he would be a good source. I even wrote my own sort of haunted cave story called the Secret of San Agustín, which appeared in the Texas Caver in 1996 and was reprinted in the NSS News in October, 1997.

Al Ogden from Tennessee contacted me about a new book that his brother would like to write. The book would be on haunted caves throughout the country. If you have any information that might assist him in his efforts, please contact Albert directly at: [email protected] Albert was a Texas caver for a number of years. He was the lead singer for the caver musical group, The Terminal Siphons that has played here in Texas at caver events. Thank you- Mike Walsh
