many Texas cavers have been there exploring and surveying.

After my futile request for submissions to the next TEXAS CAVER?
With the exception of a last minute submission from the trio of Jill
Orr/Ellie Watson/Andy Edwards and a promised article from Bill Steele,
that is all you'll be reading in the next issue.
There has been a s***load of trips this spring already, but, you
wouldn't know it from the reports I've received or seen on CaveTex.
Ben Hutchins wrote a very enjoyable report but, for the most part,
there's been a dearth of reports out there.
Looks like the TSA will be saving a lot this next issue on postage and
printing.
We've been getting a lot of attention and excellent reviews in The NSS
News, but, without content, the TC will cease to exist.
The ball is in y'all's court.

Hi Cavers,
I just wanted to remind everyone who is planning to attend the 2012 NSS
Convention in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia that the $30
pre-registration discount will be expiring on May 1! We won't be extending it,
so if you want the discount, please register in the next week or so!!
We have alot of great things planned this year, and we can't wait for you to
join us! Remember, there are lots of activities happening before, during, and
after convention week, both in town and on the way. Check out the MayaCon 2012
Website for all sorts of information (www.nss2012.com).
If you are staying in a hotel, please hurry and book your hotel reservations.
Seats will fill up fast for FLOYD COLLINS the Musical at the Greenbrier Valley
Theatre as well (http://www.gvtheatre.org/#!__season/about01). We have pre and
post convention camps that are in really exciting and convenient locations, so
your travel to and from convention can be cave-filled too! Check out all the
great art at and around convention, and take care of all your cave-shopping
needs with the many vendors that are attending. There are two great fieldtrips
on Sunday, June 24 with limited space, so be sure to check those out too. You
can find info on all of it, and register, at www.nss2012.com and you can learn
more about Lewisburg and the Greenbrier Valley atwww.greenbrierwv.com.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming Spring VAR, and at MayaCon
2012 this summer!
(Feel free to forward this message to any other caver forums!)
