I hope that everyone doesn't move there. Founders Day this past weekend was pretty crowded.

I would not want to live IN Wimberley because of the total tourist atmosphere. Too many people and cars, especially on weekends. However, there is a small town paradise fifteen miles due north known as Dripping Springs. It has almost everything anyone would need, including a DQ, oink! And, if one must go up-scale, The Hill Country Galleria is only fifteen minutes north. I like it so much that I recently bought some acreage five miles north, just off of Fitzhugh Rd. It has a creek bottom that is 40 feet deep with great hiking trails. Daughter Jenny thinks it is a perfect place for TCR but I don't think I am that brave. When I get the property and its improvements whipped into shape I will plan a caver Bar-B-Q and picnic. It has a fantastic BBQ pit with whole cow capacity. I hope to move from H town (hell) permanently later this summer. An invitation will be posted.
