Cavers, I apologize for the short notice, but I will be leaving Austin this afternoon for west Texas, to join the TNC at a cave (not at the liberty to mention the name) on a State Natural Area along the Devils River. This cave is big, beautiful, and extremely interesting geologically and biologically, but has extremely limited access. I would be happy to take along another caver if someone wanted to ride out and back with me and keep me company on the long boring drive. As a bonus, we will be staying at TNC's Dolan Falls Preserve, and also take a short helicopter ride tomorrow evening to Fern Cave to watch the bat emergence. The catch is I am leaving around 3 or so this afternoon and returning Thursday morning.
