This is unofficial but use for planning any trips.

At least the Guadalupe District of the LNF will be closed to access beginning
on May 12th. The Sitting Bull Falls area is currently closed and will remain
closed for the next year to year and a half for rehabilitation of the
structures and vegatation affected by the fire.

The Forest Service has brought in three law enforcement personnel to enforce
the closures. Access will be restricted to paved roads only (Rte 137).

While I do not know the status of the Smokey the Bear and the Sacremento
Districts; in the past when the LNF has closed one district, they have closed
them all.

The closures will remain in effect until we receive sufficient rain fall to
alleaviate the current high risk of fire situation.

Between now and the 12th, no flames of any type will be allowed, this includes
propane stoves and lanterns.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass - It's about dancing in the
rain.
