Hi folks!
I just found out that the new Lincoln National Forest Supervisor (replacing
Jacque Buchanan) is going to be Robert Trujillo, a native New Mexican who grew
up in El Rito. Robert is currently the Deputy Forest Superviosr of the Modoc
National Forest in California.
Rober graduated from the University of New Mexico earning a BS in Biology. He
then went on to get his M.S. and PhD in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences at
Texas A&M. His previous Forest Service experieince includes serving as
environmental coordinator, wildlife biologist and as a Research Wildlife
Biologist.. He has worked in five regions gaining a breath of experience from
Environmental Planning to Line Officer leadership. Robert plans to make his
home in Alamogordo. He will be reproting to his new assignment in the first
month of next year.
Do any of you fellow cavers know Robert and what his attitude is toward caves
and cavers?
Ken
