This person will serve as the Forest Cave and Karst Specialist. This will be a permanent full time position located on the Guadalupe Ranger District in Carlsbad, NM. Caving is a very popular activity in the Guadalupe Mountains. The incumbent must be able to use climbing equipment, ropes, and descending and ascending equipment when entering and exiting caves.
