I sent this to friend, Carl Kunath but it dawned on me that a few other caving
"Geezers" other than myself might enjoy this. It is historic and nostalgic.

Carl,

A little before your time and I was only ten but you will enjoy this. During
and after World War ll there was a general feeling among the populace of
happiness and well being. It was a time of scrap metal drives, victory gardens
and rationing. We were all proud, patriotic Americans. I remember it all well
(being the bright kid that I was). I can't explain it but you had to be there
to know the feeling. Ask anyone who was. Song vocals by "The Schnozola" (Jimmy
Durante) are nostalgic. Scroll down.

VJ Day in Honolulu
If you are at least 65 I am Sure,
You all saw the Sailor kissing on Broadway in New York ,
but how many have seen this? And check out the color fidelity -
Nothing will ever compare with Kodachrome film.
and click on arrow -- it has sound.
