Reports came in last night that the TS which dumped 5 or more inches of instant rain on Rolling Oaks during the afternoon filled Kiwi Sink to overflowing about 5 pm and washed away the railroad ties surrounding it. There must have been a good whirlpool. The owner got a cell-phone pic of which we are awaiting the DL. Water had subsided by dark but was still flowing strongly. An exploration trip is being organized now. Where is Ernie when we need him?
Lightning hit Terry Raines' (well grounded) internet antenna and blew out the router (but not the computers), several circuit breakers, and made the dog yelp. Terry is off-line until at least tomorrow noon or so.
