While not a practical caving headlamp, it does show how you
can borrow ideas from other activities that use LED headlamps.

The only other headlamp I know of that has 4 luxeon type LED's
is the old FoxFury Pro that has been around for several years:

The most practical way to get 4 LED's that bright on your helmet
is to mount 2 Stenlights, but that could set you back $ 740.


On the subject of Stenlights,

There are only 4 vendors now that sell them.   Over a year ago, Stenlight
upgraded the LED modules, calling it a Stenlight Premium model.
That is only $ 370, plus $ 10 for a frosted lens if you want that, which
supposedly improves the light pattern.
