To artistic cavers one and all,

Like Rob and Mark have said-we want your entries! I, Ellie Thoene, am
looking forward to seeing Texas cavers’ photos and maps. I know that there
are some talented people out there because I have seen your stuff.
Share your skills and talents with the TSA community!

Please refer to the following 2009 TSA Spring Convention site for more
detailed submission requirements-
http://www.cavetexas.org/events/TSASC/tsasc2009.html

If you are a Texas caver and have drafted a map within the last year, even
if the cave is not in Texas, please consider submitting your map. The three
map categories, depending upon submissions, include: Caves under 100 m,
Caves over 100 m, and First-time Cartographer. This is a good chance for new
cavers on non-mappers to see what the pros do and for first-time
cartographers to show off their newfound passions of mapping.

The four photo categories are: Print digital or photographic print, Digital
submitted as a digital file for display on-screen and projection, Black and
white either print or digital, and Slide. There are a lot of people out
there taking pictures in caves, and we hope to see an increase in entries
for this year's photo salon. We've tried to make the rules as simple and
easy as possible. Don't be afraid to enter. Almost everybody has at least
one really good shot. Please take the time to let us see yours!

Please note that all maps and photos need to be into Ellie Thoene at the
Salon booth by 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 25th. If you do not plan on being
at the TSA convention, or cannot make it by 10am on Saturday, please
email a digital copy of your map or photos (with credits, and captions) to
[email protected] or mail your hard copy to:
