I've had some questions about the talk below. No, there are no salt domes in
New Mexico. Diana knew I would be talking about collapses in salt in New
Mexico, and probably thought they were the same as the salt dome collapses
in east Texas. The geology is a bit different, but the collapse mechanism is
very similar. Come to the TSA convention this weekend and learn the details
(and see some cool photos of karst in action as it creates giant holes in
the ground!)
