Even if the flow isn't enough (Which by her description of a geyser one would 
think it would be) it would atleast lift them somewhat and that would give them 
a much better chance at survival. This is an amazingly stupid move and I hope 
they get punished for it. More important than that I hope the spring can be 
restored. I mean I would normally think the reason you'd want to keep people 
out of springs is so they don't swim down them, but we don't seem to have that 
problem at barton springs. Sure glad Will Wynn isn't that reactionary.

Children are thrown into bodies of water everywhere by sick adults who 
themselves should be thrown in with concrete life preservers. I would think 
that children (who should be taught to swim) might stand a better chance of 
survival if the spring’s flow was strong enough to regurgitate them.
