I believe this is a new LED headlamp sold at Sears.
http://i10.ebayimg.com/05/i/001/11/60/a845_1.JPG.
The packages states that it is "aluminum constructed."
I was excited to think there is finally a retail headlamp built
as durable as some of the new LED flashlights.
So yesterday, I purchased the headlamp.
I never even left the parking lot. After opening the package,
I immediately returned it back and swapped it for something else.
This thing was 100 percent plastic. And very crappy built.
It would not survive one trip thru "Whirlpool Cave."
The package should state "painted to look like aluminum."
Probably one of the worst headlamps in the $ 25 price range.
I don't think I can shop at this Sears store anymore, as the
customer service clerk is suspicious about me having returned
3 flashlights over a 2 day period.
They could save customers a lot of frickin trouble by having a
demo model out on the floor. They would probably sell more
of the good LED products that way.
But nobody cares about customer service anymore.
