Bentley, Belchskys, and other candy-a NM cavers - - Oh yeh - cc to Ediger and
the like

Just to report "dry" weather, so far nothing in the forecast than a few
potential (but unlikely) downbursts, hurricanes seem remote. Fair enough, we
will reserve final judgment for next Sat-turday AM.

FASCINATING interchanges between the dry cavers and cave divers. I find very
refreshing and informative. Positive, in what I have seen and overheard. So
far seems beneficial for all. Thank all your negative forks for staying away.

My judgment at the beginning of the week is that Youse Guys made a poor
decision not to come.

By the way, there are real caves in Florida and conventioneers are getting into
a number. It is not the Guads or the western Edwaurd Platueau, but the those
are not all that karst has to offer. Think ground water and Karst in Action.

Next year the ICS in Texas is going to be something. Anyone who is not a total
Old Fart and past their contributive years should be there. A No Stopper, with
the chance to get into some classic Texas caves that have been off limits of
nearly forever (except for Special People). Reserve a spot SOON. See their
web site. By the way, cost of dorm rooms may work out to be close to the
equivalent of gas to drag your camper or 4x4 and the opportunity to sleep out
in the Hill Country summer evenings.

TIP: Ship your shit, reserve a dorm room, and drive in an eco sedan or bum a
ride.

Bad mouthers Foff.
