I have visited all the vendors now. There was tons of stuff I wanted to buy,but I will have to wait for ICS.
One of the most interesting and creative vendors is a new one this year. "Clayvers" run by Emily Graham. I think she is on to something really exciting. She is making caver character figurines out of clay. Each character has their own unique position, such as surveying or sketching, etc. Someone could team up with her and make a really good movie about cavers. There are 2 memorable exhibits to deceased cavers. A museum quality exhibit for cave-diver and speleo-author, Sheck Exley. And a small kiosk exhibit for Bruce Brewer. Many of the cave conservancies have exhibits. TCMA has raised the notch again with a fancy vertical display. TSA, TCC, AMCS and many others have displays. Mercy Raines jewelry business seems to be at the point of going mainstream and making some real money. Her sister's business is doing good. to be continued..... David Locklear
