You often hear people say the U.S. is running out of oil.
I would like to see a headline in the news showing
a time-line showing when areas of the U.S.
will no longer have any oil left to drill.
Below is a rough example:
Area
Year
States northeast of Pennyslvannia. 2050
East-Central Coast States 2100
Arizona, New Mexico 2125
Oregon, Montana, Washington, Idaho 2150
California-Nevada 2175
Alaska ( excluding ANWR ) 2225
States south-east of Tennesse 2250
Central-Midwest U.S. 2300
South U.S
2350
Colorado, Wyoming area 2400
Best case scenario - U.S. will be completely out of oil by 2,410.
( Approximately, 10 generations from now )
I wonder how our descendants then will look back upon our
wasteful culture, knowing that we know the information above
and could care less about their welfare?
