Note they alledge that 6 French cavers were rescued, and not just one.
The article also claims the cave is near the village
of Eloxochitlan. I have been to a village with that name in the
area, but I thought it was in Oaxaca.
Either way, it appears to be right on the border of Puebla and Oaxaca.
Note that in Spanish the media mentions they were only in the
cave for
"prácticas deportivas."
or as we would say "for pure recreation."
So I guess that keeps them from getting in trouble with the cave
science restrictions for foreigners.
So remember that phrase when the federales try to arrest you.
