Do you like kids? The person who was organizing child care for next year's International Congress of Speleology in Kerrville needed to step down due to work and family obligations. I'm looking for someone to replace her. What is needed for the job is for someone to go to Kerrville for a day, interview the child care facilities (there are only about a half-dozen) and determine if any could receive children 0-6 in age during the ICS (19-26 July 2009). If the answer is "no" then the job is over. If the answer is "yes," then we'll need to work out the details with the facility and write up a short description to announce it on the website and in the 2nd Circular, which is due out this summer with all of the registration details.
