Today, I was digging in the adventure novel section of Half-Price books and I stumbled across a paper-back copy
of Mr. Taylor's "Cave Passages." It was filed alfabetically by the author's name, and in my opinion, that is a compliment, because this store usually just throws all the caving books in the hiking section or sometimes the geology section. In my opinion, a caving author becomes an official ol-timer, automatically once their book shows up at Half-Price Bookstore. I already had the hard-bound version, which I think I got at the same store 2 years ago, but I went ahead and bought the paperback one too. ( It might show up in an auction soon, or a caver's yard sale. ) They also had his National Geographic book "Caves" for only $ 16. If the author is reading this, how does it feel to have your books for sale at the Half-Price Bookstore? I am just curious.
