Older flash technology isn't all its cracked up to be, it may be solid state, but it was not that fast and could only be written and re written so many times. Good applications for flash drives were in devices like dumb terminals, so for past technology, hard drives have always been superior on many fronts.

Back in the days when a hard drive held 5MB, flash would have taken over by now. But of course hard drives are getting bigger just as fast as flash memory is getting bigger... -- Mixon ----------------------- You may "Reply" to the address from which this message was sent, but note the following permanent addresses for long-term use: Personal: [email protected] AMCS: [email protected], [email protected] --------------------------------------------------------------------- Visit our website: http://texascavers.com To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] --------------------------------------------------------------------- Visit our website: http://texascavers.com To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
