This weekend, we have booked the conference center in which all participants should stay. Get there Friday night if possible, or Saturday morning by 10am at the very latest. There is no limit to the number of participants, and you need not RSVP because there is room for all. You need to be there on Saturday by 10am to sign the release form and be assigned to a project. Staying until Sunday morning is recommended.
To get to the conference center... Take note of when you cross the cattle guard and enter the park. Shortly after you enter, there will be a gravel road to the left (with a stop sign for those on the side road joining the main road). Follow that road to the huge gate. The gate will be unlocked, but will probably be closed. Once you figure out how to get through the gate, please leave it in the same state as you found it. Follow the road down to near the river where it banks hard right into the parking area. Don't fall in the creek on your way across the walking bridge or the piranhas will eat you alive. We really need sketchers and sets of survey instruments and gps units, so please bring who and what you can.
