The following link shows the cover of a fish book that is available on the web.
http://www.pfeil-verlag.de/04biol/abb/9902c162.gif On page 183 there is an 8 page article on the discovery of a new cavefish in Indonesia. The 1st page of the article is available in PDF, but you will have to probably purchase the book or the download to see the rest of the article. http://www.pfeil-verlag.de/04biol/pdf/ief16_2_05.pdf If you can't open the PDF, the article is about a type of fish, called a "goboid," which the authors believe to be rare in caves. They seem to suggest that these type of fish prefer estuarine enviroments as opposed to freshwater. The cave is located in an area cavers call the Maros Karst, in a country called Sulawesi. Sulawesi is famous for its "cave graves" http://www.moxon.net/images/indonesia/rantepao4.jpg David Locklear To unsubscribe, send an e-mail to mailto:[email protected] with the following message--unsubscribe cavetex.
