Friends, I?m pleased to announce that at yesterday?s General Assembly meeting of the International Union of Speleology in Athens, Greece, the bid to hold the 2009 International Congress of Speleology in Kerrville, Texas, USA was unanimously accepted. The 2009 ICS Organizing Committee will begin work in October and will provide regular updates to the international caving and cave science community.
