Anyone out there in cave tex land interested in herbal or plant related medicine?
Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve will present a short talk on 19th century botanic medicine on Tuesday June 28, from 7 pm until 8 pm. Joanne Birch, a former trail guide at Wild Basin, will do an indoor presentation on 19th century botanic medicine in Mississippi and Texas. The material is the result of research that Joanne did on the Gideon Lincecum herbarium at the University of Texas. Gideon Lincecum was a naturalist and botanic physician. This event is free.
