Greetings, cavers!

At the next UT grotto meeting (Wednesday, Feb 1) we will have a guest
speaker, Jim Sansom, who will talk to us about the discovery of Inner Space
Caverns. Early in his career as an engineering geologist, Jim had the
fortune of drilling into a cave during the construction of I-35 and became
the second explorer to enter what is now known as Inner Space Caverns. Jim
is a UT graduate, BS Geology 1963. He retired from the State of Texas
having worked for 33 years and continues to consult independently in
central Texas.

Before the meeting, gather at the Taco Join on San Jacinto Blvd. This is
the best place to park and meet folks walking over to the meeting. After
the meeting we continue with the decades long tradition to reconvene for
burgers, beer, and tall tales of caving at Posse East! www.posse-east.com

See you there!
