It is with a heavy heart that I share that my dad, Andy Komensky
<https://www.facebook.com/andy.komensky>, died unexpectedly this
afternoon in St Louis. In true Komensky form, he and Maureen had just
arrived at the Casino for a few hours of diversion. Maureen said that
dad probably didn't have any forewarning and that he did not suffer.
I am grateful to Maureen - more than words can possibly say. Maureen
helped my dad live the fullest possible life.

Dad would want no goddamn sadness... everyone go grab your favorite beer
and have a toast to the Mad Russian of New Mexico!
I don't know any other way to contact his Duryea, Pennsylvania/Carlsbad,
New Mexico/Spelunker/National Park Service/Geological Society friends
and acquaintances except via Facebook.
As Carl Kunath wold say "We are diminished."
