Subject: [Texascavers] sort of map related

>From David Locklear,

I will refrain from posting stuff that has no interest in the future.

NASA has released some aerial photos to the public of interesting natural areas.

One could print those and overlay line maps or cave locations on them and show
them off at a grotto meeting.

All of the largest caves would just appear as a tiny blob on the map, but you
could enlarge their photo and only display a certain section where the caves
are concentrated.

On a different note,

I need to stay off the internet for a while and take a hiatus and get some
fresh air. I have been working a double-shift for about 3 weeks, and need a
break. The good news is almost all of my customers are j*rks and owe me.
Once I get paid, I finally should be out of the red for at least a few weeks,
and I have not been able to say that, since purchasing a nice V8 4x4 Sequoia
back in June. I have been living in a cheap motel now since early March, and
hope to stay here as long as I have a job. I do not see any other option.
I have turned down hundreds of dollars of work, because I can't do it all by
myself. There are about 40 attorneys in Houston that like my service.
However, I have somehow worn out my welcome on their Facebook forum. Imagine
that ? Another funny story for another time, is the folks on a Linux computer
forum in Europe have run me off. Those Linux nerds are not as friendly and
welcoming as cavers, and they get their knickers in a wad very easily. They
don't like to use the word "Microsoft" in the same way that cavers don't like
to use the word "spelunking."

Hope to see you all in Rio Rancho at The Howdy Party.
