Sorry about earlier no content. Got pulled away. Not cave related, but about
Rockport damage footage.

My brother lives in Rockport, and made it out with a friend and his cat to I
believe a Quality Inn in Buda. He said in some of the footage that Nancy
showed, there was a large, tall building with siding all stripped off etc. That
was a place holding @ 350 boats, and was where he most often launched his boat
to go out fishing. His RV park is about 1.5 miles away as the crow flies.

The owner of the park somehow made it back down from San Antonio later today to
check on things, and told my brother the tongue of his trailer was in the sand,
but otherwise looked ok, the friend he took out of the area and her neighbor's
trailers looked untouched, Tuck's chicken coop and chickens were miraculously
ok, but every other trailer was on it's top or side really messed up ☹️ I
believe his bigger boat and kayak were also intact, but no sign of his 5
wheeler. When they are allowed back in the area, they will find somewhere close
to live for a while till they can rebuild.

At least today we have warning systems and ways of communication to allow
people to escape a natural disaster such as this if they choose to. Things can
be replaced, but not life!

Thoughts with all those affected, including evacuated cavers who made it to SA
and Austin. Hope flooding does not give you trouble there, and devastation to
your homes not too intense!!

Safe returns.
