There is a 90% chance that I am leaving Houston tonight at 11:30 p.m. in my old trusty Sequoia. ( Friday, March 15th ) I am probably heading due north. I only have an LED headlight, and some snacks and minmal camping gear. As disorganized clusterph*ck as all that sounds, it is the most prepared that I have been in almost two years. I have 4 new all-terrain tires and a decent spare, a recent oil change and the Sequoia seems to be okay, and just filled up at PEMEX. ( Houston has about 20 PEMEX gas stations now ).
