I meant to type "Pd", not "Bd". Bd is a fungus that is killing amphibians, another issue we are dealing with in Texas. If anyone is interested in how Bd and caves are related, check out this paper: GluesenkampA, Muscher-Hodges B, Lee M, Sandoval, N, and Fenolio, DB. 2018. Sampling for Batrachochytriumdendrobatidis and B. salamandrivorans in the Texas Blind Salamander(Eurycea rathbuni). Herpetological Review, 49(1), 44–46.

The results show detections of evidence of Pd in a number of counties in central and eastern counties. It's important to note that they have not yet confirmed the disease in any Texas bats, but they have found the fungus on three species.“ Dear Fellow New Mexico Cavers, Pd is on the doorstep.
